Photographing weddings since 2001, Kathy Weigand captures the
essence of the moments and people at weddings. Along with
her hand-picked team, we combine traditional
formals, detailed
documentary, candid, and our own unique style. We strive for a more natural
and relaxed look, a variety of viewpoints, and fun, exciting
spontaneous expressions! Our experience, creativity, personality,
and passion for photography go hand-in-hand, while staying up to
date on the latest trends.
Kathy Weigand is one of the most sought after artistic
professional photographers in the greater Fredericksburg & Texas
Hill Country area. Kathy limits her weddings to about
25 per year to allow our clients the utmost in service and
an outstanding
quality of artwork in the final product, the album.
Our Wedding Packages include cds (digital negatives) and
exquisite Italian albums, which are custom designed in
our studio. They are well known for
their seamless bound, two page spreads (no breaks in the
background image). You
must see these to appreciate their outstanding craftsmanship and
style. (voted Best Album Maker Awards) We would
love to have you browse through our albums to see for yourself
why these albums stand out among the crowd.
Send us an email to view our
Hill Country Wedding Packages, check availability,

Be sure to include your wedding date and preferred daytime
contact information.

A wedding
photojournalist is someone who combines the art
and science of photography to "tell the story" of your
day. A candid and photojournalism style
will “capture” the magic, emotions, romance and beauty of your
wedding day. We do this by
photographing our subjects “in the moment”; holding hands,
laughing, sharing a stolen kiss, or dancing exuberantly to
“Staying Alive.” Of course, Kathy combines
this with the all of the necessary and traditional formals such
as the bride with her bridesmaids, the groom with his family and
so on. But overall, her joy is to capture your day so that your
finished wedding album will 'speak for itself' and tell your
day.... your storybook!
All of our clients receive complimentary online viewing of
their images. We can also arrange a studio,
large wall projection, of your special day or photo session.
Ordering prints, sharing, emailing the images with your
friends and family is easy!
Be sure to stop by and visit our studio in
lovely Fredericksburg, which is the best destination in the

" Kathy Weigand's
lifetime goal is to leave a legacy of photographic images
that explain and document our lives and the art that
surrounds us. Weddings are just a part of her artistic
expressions. Kathy's collection of images also describe the
person behind the camera, and the absolute passion and joy
she had for her work."

I tried to
keep both arts alive, but the camera won. I found that while the camera
does not express the soul, perhaps a photograph can!
